Nickal vs Woodburn Prediction

Val Woodburn is set to make his UFC debut on short notice after Tresean Gore pulled out of his fight with Bo Nickal due to a wrist injury. Prior to this weekend, Woodburn has spent his time with Combat Night MMA, going 7-0 with five knockout victories.

Unfortunately for Woodburn, he's going up against an incredibly tough opponent. Nickal — a three-time three-time NCAA Division I National Wrestling Champion — has brought his dominance to the MMA world, going 4-0 thus far. Three of those victories came in the UFC, where he defeated each opponent via first-round submission.

Nickal is a special fighter and his dominance can't be understated. Woodburn will try his hardest, but it won't be enough to survive the heavy favorite.

Winner: Bo Nickal

Nickal vs Woodburn Best Bet

With how his latest fights have been going, I'm taking Bo Nickal to win by first-round submission at -160 odds. His grappling is second to none and the fact that he's submitted his last three opponents in the opening round spells bad news for the debuting Woodburn.

Bet: Bo Nickal by Submission in Round 1 (-160)
