It wasn't pretty, but the Cincinnati Bengals advanced to the Divisional Round with their win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Now, Cincinnati will travel to face the 2-seed Buffalo Bills in a matchup that features a ton of offensive firepower on both sides.
FanDuel Sportsbook's opening NFL odds for this exciting clash have been released, but oddsmakers don't love Cincinnati's chances in this one.
Bengals vs Bills Opening Odds
The Bengals are listed as 4.5-point road underdogs against the Bills. Cincinnati is +194 on the moneyline to win on Sunday, while Buffalo is a -235 favorite to emerge victorious.
Being underdogs is nothing new for Cincinnati, so this shouldn't shake their confidence one bit. The Bengals were just 10-7 entering the playoffs last season, but they beat both the No. 1 seed Tennessee Titans and No. 2 Kansas City Chiefs -- each on the road, no less -- en route to a Super Bowl appearance.
Now Cincinnati will look to pull off a similar feat this year. Their playoff magic was on full display Sunday night, as a 98-yard fumble return for a touchdown turned the tide after the Bengals were on the verge of being upset by the Ravens at home.
Hopefully that close call gives Cincy the boost it needs to avoid coming out sluggish in Buffalo.
