Ever since MLB legend Lou Gehrig appeared on a Wheaties box back in 1934, hundreds of athletes have graced the cover of cereal boxes across North America. You can now add Albert Pujols' name to the list as it was revealed that the soon-to-be retiring slugger is getting his own cereal.

Pujols is releasing a limited-edition cereal called "Pujols Crunch," according to MLB insider J.P. Hoornstra. The "honey nut toasted oats cereal" is only "available exclusively at Schnuck Markets in St. Louis," as well as on the PLB Sports & Entertainment website.

Not only does it sound like the cereal will taste good, but buying Pujols Crunch also supports a good cause. A portion of sales will be donated to the Pujols Family Foundation, which is a St. Louis-based charity that his family put together.

Pujols' adopted daughter, Isabella, has Down syndrome. Always a class act, he and his wife started the Pujols Family Foundation to "help those living with Down syndrome," as well as to "improve the lives of the impoverished in the Dominican Republic."

Pujols is far from the first notable athlete to partner with PLB Sports & Entertainment. Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb released "Chubb Crunch" with much success last year. Even Buffalo Bills teammates Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen have their own lemon pepper seasoning and coffee, respectively.

There's no doubt that Pujols' cereal will be a success in St. Louis. The future Hall-of-Famer won three NL MVP awards while crushing 469 home runs with 1,397 RBIs over 1,814 games in a Cardinals jersey, even managing to crunch 24 round-trippers at the age of 42.

Needless to say, getting his own cereal is the icing on the cake for what was a memorable final season of Pujols' historic career.
