As the top MLB player award races heat up in the final weeks of the regular season, two players will decide American League Rookie of the Year. Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena (-175) has moved past outfielder Adolis Garcia (+230) of the Texas Rangers in the odds to win the award at FanDuel Sportsbook.
Garcia is hitting .249 and leads all rookies with 30 HRs and 81 RBIs. Garcia was the highest-ranked AL rookie for much of June and July, but he's slumped since appearing in the All-Star Game.
Arozarena has helped the first-place Rays, solidifying the middle of the lineup with a .272 batting average. The Cuban star has cracked 19 HRs with 63 RBIs. He's also stolen 14 stolen bases and is hitting better than .320 since the All-Star break. He leads all rookies in runs scored (87) and hits (130).
