As if we needed any more evidence the NFL Combine is one of the most absurd events in sports, this week's conversation around Kyler Murray should solidify that.
Murray is the talk of the NFL Combine despite not participating in a single drill this week. That's right,
To be fair, Murray actually did a lot to dispel the notion that he's "too small" to play quarterback in the NFL. Murray weighed in at 207 lbs, measured over 5'10", and his hands measured in at 9.5".
As a result, there's now a ton of buzz indicating Murray could go No. 1 overall to the Arizona Cardinals. So let's break down the odds for Kyler Murray's landing spot in the 2019 NFL Draft. Odds come from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals, Pick No. 1 (+125)
The Cardinals are currently favored to draft Kyler Murray with the first overall pick. Where there's smoke, there's fire, and there's certainly a lot of smoke with the Cardinals. Arizona would likely have to move on from Josh Rosen after trading up to draft him last season, but there are plenty of quarterback-needy teams who would be willing to take a flier on the talented UCLA product.
Kyler Murray, Miami Dolphins, Pick No. 13 (+400)
Next up we have the Miami Dolphins at +400. The Dolphins currently own the 13th overall pick, but with so much buzz around Murray, it's tough to envision him falling this far. That being said, crazier things have happened (just ask Aaron Rodgers) and Miami could trade up. The Dolphins need a replacement for Ryan Tannehill, so drafting a quarterback early makes sense.

Kyler Murray, Oakland Raiders, Pick No. 4, Pick No. 24, Pick No. 27 (+500)
The Oakland Raiders are valued at +500 to draft Kyler Murray and, at this point, it's tough to rule anything out with Jon Gruden. After trading away franchise cornerstones like Amari Cooper and Khalil Mack, the Raiders have holes all over their roster, but they're also flushed with draft capital. Oakland is a solid dark horse pick here, as they could take Murray with the fourth overall selection, or package other picks to move up.
Kyler Murray, New York Giants, Pick No. 6 (+800)
The Giants also need a QB and their odds are at +800. They have the sixth pick in the draft so they'd likely have to move up if they want to make a move for Murray. But pairing him with Saqon Barkley and Odell Beckham would immediately make the Giants relevant again.
We'll see where Murray ends up when the NFL Draft on April 25. But, the odds certainly favor Murray to go No. 1 for now.
