A Friday slate with just one Top 25 game means we get some Ivy League action tonight, featuring two teams currently tied for second place in the conference.

The Princeton Tigers (12-7, 4-2 Ivy) are one-point favorites on their home court against rival Harvard Crimson (11-8, 4-2 Ivy). The Tigers are returning home to Jadwin Gymnasium from a two-week road trip, where they saw a seven-game winning streak snapped. The Crimson is also fresh off a loss at home and will kick off a four-game road trip at Princeton.

Before you consider placing a bet on this game, let's take a look at what some industry insiders think.

Harvard vs Princeton Basketball Prediction

Christian Jope - WSN Sports

Christian Jope, of WSN, thinks that Princeton's shooting struggles have been evident in their last two games. Harvard is a good defensive team and holds the second-best shooting percentage in the conference. Jope said he thinks Princeton would need a stellar game out of Devin Cannady to overcome Harvard, which is entirely possible.

Mark Roberts - Sports Chat Place

Mark Roberts, of Sports Chat Place, is giving the edge to the underdog, Harvard. With Princeton's recent two-game skid, Roberts thinks that the Tigers aren't starting quick enough, evidenced by their 29.3 first-half points per game over their last three.

ESPN Basketball Power Index Matchup Predictor

Despite some concerns from sharp industry minds, ESPN's BPI calculator gives the nod to the home team, ever so slightly. The Tigers have a 56.3 percent chance to defend its home court.

The public is also very split on this matchup, as money is essentially coming down 50/50 on both sides. No matter which side of the coin you land on, this should be a fun Ivy League contest to watch.
