The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs gets kicked off on Saturday afternoon, as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Indianapolis Colts. KC comes into this game as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, while Indy, the No. 6 seed, won their opening-round matchup against the Houston Texans last week.
The Chiefs are currently five-point favorites over the Colts, via FanDuel Sportsbook, but with the multitude of prop bets
Here are all of the expert staff predictions and picks for Saturday's 4:35 p.m. EST kickoff in the NFL Divisional-Round at Arrowhead Stadium. These staff members are from Bleacher Report, CBS and ESPN.
Bleacher Report Colts vs Chiefs Predictions
- Matt Bowen: Chiefs
- Mike Clay: Chiefs
- Mike Golic: Chiefs
- Dan Graziano: Chiefs
- Mina Kimes: Chiefs
- Louis Riddick: Chiefs
- Kevin Siefert: Chiefs
- Seth Wickersham: Chiefs
- Trey Wingo: Chiefs
#Colts run zone coverage at highest rate in the league.#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes played 5 games vs teams that run zone at top-8 frequencies this season, completing 64.1% of his passes at 7.99 yards per attempt with a perfect 14:0 TD-to-INT ratio against them.— Evan Silva (@evansilva) January 8, 2019
It's very intriguing to see many of these different outlets on opposite sides of the coin. While Bleacher Report is all over the Colts, everyone at ESPN is on the Chiefs -- everyone! CBS had a couple Colts' backers, and it's interesting to note that about 68 percent of all public bets on the spread are with Indy as well.
Overall, it's 15-5 in favor of the Chiefs, but as we've seen in the past, when the majority of people are favoring one team, that doesn't necessarily guarantee a win.
