Most coaches usually stick to traditional motivation tactics to get their teams ready for postseason games. New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton, however, decided to motivate his players for their first postseason game
According to sources inside the organization, Payton strolled into the Saints' locker room Wednesday morning with the franchise's first Lombardi Trophy stacked on a pile of $225,000 in cash with just one message for his players: "Win three F'n games."

Yesterday, 4 armed guards entered the @saints locker room, with Coach @SeanPayton wheeling the Lombardi trophy on top of $225k in cash.
Coach then said: “Y’all want this???”
“Win 3 F’n games.”
The locker room erupted. $225k is each player’s SB bonus. #WHODAT
Was it just a bit excessive and little over the top? Probably, but it may have actually resonated with the players in the locker room, according to running back Mark Ingram.
This is true. Saints RB Mark Ingram says guys got a kick out of it. https://t.co/RTfW5ocAoF— Mike Triplett (@MikeTriplett) January 9, 2019
