Nick Foles finds himself in an eerily similar position as he did during the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl run last season. He's now the team's starting quarterback, again filling in for an injured Carson Wentz, doing what he can to get the the Eagles into the playoffs.

Given that Wentz is officially listed as "week to week" with a back injury that will keep him on the sidelines for the remainder of the regular season, Foles will be the Philly starter in Weeks 16 and 17.

Foles will take on the Houston Texans in Week 16 and the Washington Redskins to close out the season in two must-win games. Houston ranks 27th against the pass this season while the Redskins rank 19th, so Foles does have some favorable matchups in these final two games of the season.

In deeper leagues, Foles is surely in the QB1 conversation. He's also likely the best QB still available on the waiver wire this late in the year.

At the end of the day, the Super Bowl MVP has proven that he's at least worth the pickup to keep him away from other owners. You don't want to leave anything to chance leading up to your fantasy football championship, and Foles could be the guy to win it for you.
