Florida State started its 2018 season ranked 19th in the nation and had plenty of promise under new head coach Willie Taggert. Unfortunately, the Seminoles haven't played up to snuff and are in danger of ending one of the most impressive streaks in sports history.

Thanks to their inability to play up their potential this year, the Noles find themselves on the brink of snapping their NCAA record of 36 straight bowl game appearances with just two games left to play in the season.

All good things must come to an end, right?

There's still a chance that Florida State can find a way to win out and keep their streak alive. Unfortunately, it's incredibly unlikely with No. 20 Boston College on Saturday and No. 13 Florida as their remaining two opponents.

Unless they shape up quickly, the FSU football program will be watching bowl season from their couches for the first time since the Reagan Administration.
