Marshawn Lynch is out of the picture as the Raiders lead RB after being placed on IR, which means the Oakland Raiders' backfield is ripe for the picking. Whether you owned Beast Mode or not on your fantasy team, Jalen Richard and Doug Martin have upside moving forward.

Jalen Richard- Martin you may know from his days in Tampa Bay, but Richard is mostly unknown to those who aren't deep within fantasy football. Let him introduce himself as the passing option out of the Raiders' backfield. When he gets the chance, he's a monster in the passing game, putting up performances of nine catches on 11 targets, six catches on seven targets, six catches on six targets, and seven catches on eight targets thus far this season. Not only should he already be owned in PPR formats, but he has big-play ability too on the ground. With 5.9 and 4.9 yards per carry in his first two seasons, Oakland may end up feeding him more often to see if those numbers hold.

Doug Martin- It's been a few seasons since Martin was a fantasy stud, but he has the chance to do it once again here in Oakland. Before his injury, Lynch was averaging 4.2 yards per carry and Martin is the same kind of runner who can thrive in that bruising role. In a small window, he's averaged 4.5 yards per carry on hthe Raiders. When he gets more touches and those coveted goal-line opportunities that were given to Lynch, he can be a proven asset to your fantasy team.

Verdict- Both deserve to be owned in their own right, but the edge goes to Martin here. He's expected to get the bulk of the goal-line carries, and that's where he can get points. Richard has a chance to break off a big play, but MArtin seems like the safer bet.
