As is the case with owning a running back in a crowded backfield, it's even worse to have a wide receiver in an offense that doesn't have a clear-cut number one target.

That being said, the Detroit Lions aren't making life easy on fantasy football players.

Golden Tate, Kenny Golladay, and Marvin Jones are by no means elite, but each one is capable of changing the outcome of a game on any given Sunday. However, trying to decide which of the bunch to start may be easier than you think.

While all are talented, Tate may have the edge in this situation thanks to the whopping 28 targets he's seen so far.

For now, Tate is firmly entrenched as Matthew Stafford's top option and is the right player to start among Detroit's top three wideouts. However, don't sleep on Golladay, as the second-year wideout is still seeing a sizeable amount of targets to be fantasy-relevant across all scoring formats.
