Bears head coach Matt Nagy may have just convinced fantasy owners across the country to roll the dice on Jordan Howard for the 2018 season.
Nagy told the Chicago Tribune
Nagy: Jordan Howard will play on third down https://t.co/3PbhDQgNvD— Rotoworld Football (@Rotoworld_FB) August 24, 2018
While I'm sure Howard's fantasy stock is nowhere near Nagy's radar, his intentions spell out a pretty clear equation for fantasy owners interested in the Indiana University product.
More downs equals more touches, and more touches equals more fantasy points.
Here's an interesting stat... Todd Gurley had 42 carries that resulted in 15+ mph runs, tied for the most among all RBs. These are those big breakaway type runs. Who had as many as Gurley? Believe it or not... Jordan Howard #BearDown— James Koh (@JamesDKoh) August 23, 2018
