Bears head coach Matt Nagy may have just convinced fantasy owners across the country to roll the dice on Jordan Howard for the 2018 season.

Nagy told the Chicago Tribune that Bears fans and fantasy fiends alike are going to see Howard staying on the field for third down more often this season.

This isn't the first time Nagy has given hints about Howard's potential upside for the upcoming season either. Last month, he praised Howard as a guy that can play all three downs for Chicago.

While I'm sure Howard's fantasy stock is nowhere near Nagy's radar, his intentions spell out a pretty clear equation for fantasy owners interested in the Indiana University product.

More downs equals more touches, and more touches equals more fantasy points.

In other words, Howard could use these extended opportunities to break out of the Top-15 RB class he finished within last season and become a Top-10 or better back this season.
