With the July 31 MLB Trade Deadline quickly approaching, the Chicago White Sox look like they could be sellers. With a 42-44 record at the All-Star break, the White Sox are 12.5 games behind in the AL Central. They're also seven games out in the AL Wild Card race, with six teams ahead of them, so it'll be no easy task for the White Sox to make the 2019 MLB postseason.

If Chicago ends up being a seller, here are three players that the White Sox could move before the end of the month.

1. Jose Abreu, 1B

With Jose Abreu just months away from free agency, the White Sox either need to act in the next few weeks or potentially lose their best player while getting nothing in return. If the team makes Abreu available, he'd likely bring in quite the haul from a contender. The three-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger could be a real difference maker for a potential playoff team down the stretch.

2. Jon Jay, OF

Jon Jay signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the White Sox this offseason and many thought he was signed as trade bait. With lots of contenders looking for outfield depth, Jay could end up on one of his former teams (the Cardinals, Cubs or Padres) and make a run toward a World Series title.

3. Ivan Nova, SP

Ivan Nova is in the final year of a three-year contract making him the ideal trade candidate for the White Sox. The veteran right-hander would simply provide depth to whatever team he was traded to, but wouldn't cost more than a mid-level prospect. Expect Nova to be donning another team's uniform before the end of the July.
