The College Football MaxDiff poll from FanJuicer is quickly become one of the most popular fan polls on the internet. It compares the official AP poll against the fan-voted MaxDiff poll to calculate the true top-25 in the nation, because fans on Reddit are the true experts, right? Either way, it is an interesting way to poll fans from across the country to gauge who the perceived overrated teams are. These are the three most overrated teams, according to this year's first MaxDiff poll.

1. Oregon Ducks (AP Rank: 11)

The Oregon Ducks are the highest-ranked team on this list, with an official ranking of 11th, but a MaxDiff ranking of 14th. Since losing to Ohio State in the national championship five years again, the Ducks have averaged less than eight wins per season. But with senior Justin Herbert back with something to prove, Oregon has been one of the most hyped teams this offseason. They will be tested early, opening the season against the 16th-ranked Auburn Tigers. So, we will see if the Ducks really are overrated or if they're the real deal right away.

2. Iowa Hawkeyes (AP Rank: 20)

Playing in a tough Big Ten conference, Iowa was viewed as the most overrated team in the top-25. The MaxDiff poll has its ranked at 24, which is four spots below its official ranking. Despite the tough conference competition, the Hawkeyes do field the most experienced quarterback in the Big Ten, Nate Stanley, who has thrown for 52 touchdowns and 16 interceptions over the past two seasons. Perhaps the loss of his two talented tight ends, T.J. Hockenson and Noah Fant, to the NFL is a reason why fans believe Stanley and the Hawkeyes won't live up to the hype.

3. Syracuse Orange (AP Rank: 22)

Coming off its first 10-win season since 2001, Syracuse will have a different quarterback under center this season. Redshirt sophomore Tommy DeVito will take over as the starter, and while he was a four-star recruit coming into college, the lack of experience may be the reason fans aren't sold on the Orange. Playing in the ACC against the reigning national champion Clemson Tigers, Syracuse was projected to finish second in a conference not getting much respect. Fans voted Syracuse to be ranked 26th, making it three spots overrated.
