3 Best Prop Bets for Colts vs Cowboys Sunday Night Football Week 13 (Tony Pollard Torches Indianapolis Defense)

3 Best Prop Bets for Colts vs Cowboys Sunday Night Football Week 13 (Tony Pollard Torches Indianapolis Defense)

Updated:

Week 13 of the 2022 NFL season features a cross conference matchup on Sunday Night Football between the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys. AT&T Stadium will surely be rocking as head coach Mike McCarthy aims to keep his squad in the thick of a hard-fought NFC East title race.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Colts vs Cowboys matchup, courtesy of NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Colts vs Cowboys SNF Prop Bets Tonight

1. Tony Pollard - Rushing + Receiving Yards: Over 81.5 (-114)

This line seems to be an overreaction to a Week 12 performance in which Pollard tallied only 61 total yards. After all, the 25-year-old still racked up 20 touches in that game, but simply didn't see enough targets in the passing game. Pollard had logged more than 81 total yards in each of his last four games prior to Week 12. He also draws an advantageous matchup on Sunday night. The Colts have given up the eight-most receiving yards to opposing running backs (490) and rank 17th in rushing yards allowed per game this season (118.3). Indianapolis was just burned for 5.2 yards per carry by Benny Snell last week and should have trouble against Pollard's ability to change direction on a dime.

2. Michael Pittman Jr. - Receiving Yards: Under 58.5 (-110)

There's no question that Michael Pittman is the Colts' No. 1 receiver right now. He has been consistent despite shaky quarterback play, yet he has logged less than 59 receiving yards in four of his last six games. Head coach Jeff Saturday relied on the rushing attack to move the offense in Week 12 and a similar strategy in Week 13 wouldn't be surprising. The Cowboys have posted the best pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL, while they rank 24th in rushing yards allowed per game (131.9). Dallas has also given up the sixth-fewest yards to opposing wide receivers. Pittman with have little opportunity to rack up yards after the catch on Sunday night, so back the under.

3. Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Dalton Schultz (+195)

Dallas has no shortage of exciting options near the end zone with Pollard, Ezekiel Elliott and CeeDee Lamb on the roster. None of them lead the team in red zone targets over the last three weeks, though. That would be tight end Dalton Schultz with a total of 8 (three in Week 10, two in Week 11 & three in Week 12). Schultz remains quarterback Dak Prescott's security blanket and now faces a Colts defense that has allowed 5 touchdowns to opposing TEs this season. Schultz is coming off a two-touchdown performance on Thanksgiving and is finally back to full health. Now is the time to trust him.
