TREASURE COVE (14) was 2.25 metres away in second at Rangiora over 1 ?m last start at his first run back from a spell. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw, but he can go right on with the job. RENA (1) drew wide last start and was easily accounted for, at Rangiora over 1 ¼m. No excuses from this more advantageous draw, and she can bounce back to form. NORMIE STEAD (2) is looming as a real threat after a better effort last start, finishing third after an early break at Ashburton Raceway over 1 ½m. Include in all top 4 combos. ART JORDAN (10) is the best of the rest after finishing runner-up over 1 ?m at Rangiora last time out. Watch for him to be running on late here.
