The 5 entrants who qualify for the $250,000 Survivor Final will each receive a prize package consisting of $1,000 airfare credit for one round-trip plane ticket to a location to be determined, one way transfer from airport to event hotel, three nights in a hotel, and entry to the Saturday special activity and the Sunday Championship viewing party. There will also be a welcome mixer hosted on Friday night and a Saturday surprise for all finalists. Each finalist may bring one guest, free of charge, to both the Friday and Saturday night parties. Additional guests may be able to attend the Saturday and Sunday parties, but will be subject to additional charges. Should a finalist elect to not to attend the viewing party and utilize the prize package, he will receive no cash compensation in lieu of the prize package components. If a Survivor finalist has already gained entry into the WFFC, which included travel and hotel accommodations as prizing from a WFFC Qualifier or the $1M Fantasy Football Bracket Championship, the player will receive cash value for the trip of $3,000 in lieu of a second prize package.
The total guaranteed prize pool for the $250,000 Survivor is $250,000.
The contest will contain only players from selected NFL games listed in the contest’s “Info” section.
Fantasy points and rosters for all contests will use standard FanDuel NFL rosters and scoring rules, as explained here: fanduel.com/rules.
PAll ties will result in the following tie-breaking procedure being used:
All US resident Survivor finalists will be required to provide address and social security details prior to the finals event. These details will be used to file a 1099-MISC with the Internal Revenue Service for any players whose net profit on FanDuel during 2015 exceeds $600.
Finalists agree that their full names, location and/or photos and videos will be used for marketing purposes. They also agree to speak to bloggers and other journalists and media personnel where applicable prior to, during and after the event, and they agree to participate in additional FanDuel marketing activities, all without additional compensation.
Survivor contestants who qualify for the final round (“Finalists”) will be given a free hotel stay for the nights of Friday December 11th, Saturday December 12th, and Sunday December 13th at a location to be determined. If the finalist cannot make the trip due to circumstances that FanDuel in its sole discretion deems extreme and outside the finalist’s control (which may include severe illness, potential loss of job, death in the family, etc.), FanDuel may authorize the finalist to nominate one other person to go in his or her place. However, the finalist will still be expected to fulfill their publicity obligations.
One ticket for guests to the Saturday and Sunday parties is free; there will be a fee for additional guests, and space for additional guests at either event is not guaranteed. There will also be a welcome mixer hosted for finalists on Friday night.
The decisions made by FanDuel management regarding, but not limited to, eligibility, winners, scoring, travel arrangement, rules, prizes and compliance with the Affidavit of Eligibility are considered final. No correspondence will be entered into. FanDuel reserves the right to make reasonable changes to these terms, (a) to ensure the fairness of competition, and (b) in response to unanticipated developments (such as technical failures, errors, acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, changes in applicable law, interruption in the NFL season, failure of stats provider, failure of hotel provider, and failure to obtain a minimum number of entrants).
In consideration for the opportunity to participate in the Survivor Championship (“SC”), and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I agree as follows:
