College Football Recruit Iman Marshall Asks Fans to Decide Last Official Visit

Aug 21 3:02pm

The college recruitment process is tough on any high school athlete. When top schools in the FBS Division of college football are pursuing you, the stress level is bound to increase dramatically. That’s why defensive back Iman Marshall, a Class of 2015 recruit, is letting fans help him decide where his fifth and final visit should be.

Social media is a wonderful thing, isn’t it?

I like the disclaimer at the end of his note, making all the Notre Dame fans reading it immediately stop jumping around for joy.

The 17-year-old is considered a 5-star recruit, so it’s not shocking to see these types of schools interested in him commiting to their football program. This is a phenomenal way for Marshall to get a taste of just how passionate these fans are, especially since he’s putting Texas and Oklahoma against one another. As if there isn’t enough to argue about when they’re on the field.

Some recruits have been using creative ways to reveal which school they committed to for this fall. Since Marshall is already pushing himself into the spotlight during his official visits, I can’t wait to see what he comes up with once he actually makes a decision.

This was a great move for him. He found a way to get a laugh during what can be a very stressful time in his life. Plus, he’s basically letting other people make this particular decision for him. Sounds like he’s ready for college.
