It’s no secret that daily fantasy sports is a male-dominated industry. That’s why it’s so refreshing to introduce our first female finalist for the 2014 DFBC, ebreed44!

How long have you been playing fantasy sports/baseball?

I’ve been playing season-longs since college. As for daily, I just came across it about four years ago right when the industry was starting to grow.

In your opinion, how does daily fantasy compare to season-long?

I don’t think it’s much of a contest. Daily is far superior. Playing season-long nowadays is like owning a Blockbuster franchise.

How would you describe your overall approach to drafting?

For baseball, it’s pretty easy. My approach is to pick pitchers who get Ks and batters who get home runs.

Describe the night of your DFBC Qualifier win.

I wasn’t really a contender until pretty late. It came down to Kyle Seager’s at bat in the 9th inning. Luckily, he got a big hit and that put me on top.

What are you looking forward to the most about Vegas?

I guess just being there and a chance to win. Just having a shot at the million dollars is pretty big deal.

What would you do with the $1,000,000 if you did win?

What would I do with it? Play more fantasy sports.
