The “Golden 5” fantasy football promotion (the “Promotion”) begins at 1:00pm ET on Sunday, September 10, 2017 and ends at 11:59pm ET on Sunday, December 31, 2017 (the “Promotional Period”). Each week of the Promotional Period runs from 12:00am ET on Mondays to 11:59pm ET on Sundays (each a “Qualifying Week”).
On each Qualifying Week during the Promotional Period, FanDuel will offer one Golden 5 contest (“Free Play”) for users to enter. The Free Play is a single entry fantasy football contest, and no entry fee is required to enter. Any instance of registering multiple accounts on FanDuel in order to gain more than one entry into the Free Play will result in automatic disqualification from the Free Play as well as potential suspension from FanDuel.
In the first Qualifying Week during the Promotional Period, the Free Play will offer up a prize of $20,000 (“Grand Prize”) to any user that submits a lineup that includes the highest scoring player at each of the five positions (“Perfect Lineup”), thus achieving the highest score possible during that Qualifying Week. If no one submits a Perfect Lineup in any given Qualifying Week, the Grand Prize in the following Qualifying Week will increase by $20,000. For example, if no one submits a Perfect Lineup in the first Qualifying Week, the Grand Prize in the second Qualifying Week would be $40,000. The Grand Prize will increase by $20,000 each Qualifying Week until the Grand Prize is won. Once a player wins the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize for the following week will reset to $20,000, and the process would start over again.
For the Free Play contest in the 17th Qualifying Week (“Final Free Play”), if no one submits a Perfect Lineup, the Grand Prize will be awarded to the user with the highest score in the Final Free Play.
Standard FanDuel scoring rules for “NFL Mini” fantasy football contests apply all Free Play contests. You can find all scoring rules at https://www.fanduel.com/rules. NFL Mini contests will require users to select a roster of five (5) players at the following positions: one (1) quarterback, two (2) running backs and two (2) wide receivers. In the Golden 5 Free Play contest, there will be no salary cap restrictions. All players will be priced so that any combination of players can fit under the salary cap.
In the event two or more players score the Perfect Lineup on any given Qualifying Week, or if two or more players have the highest score in the Final Free Play, those players will split the cash value of the Grand Prize on that Qualifying Week.
All US resident prize winners will be required to provide address and social security details prior to receiving their prize if their prize exceeds $600 in value. Winners are responsible for paying all taxes, fees, registration and insurance, for any prizes won in connection with this contest, including non-cash prizes.
FanDuel may require prize winners to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility to confirm their identity and eligibility for the Promotion.
