You can win your trip to the FFFC Final through our Weekly Qualifiers – which award one trip each - or through our massive Super Qualifier in Week 11 which will award 20 trips to Vegas. That's right, we're awarding 20 trips in one weekend. We’re running satellite tournaments to all qualifiers. In total, qualifiers will pay out $1,000,000 in runner up cash prizes - there’s plenty at stake on top of the trips to the final!
On December 8th, 2013, 50 finalists will be on their way to Vegas to compete in the biggest fantasy football event ever.

Welcome to the 2013 FanDuel Fantasy Football Championship (FFFC). Here are the detailed rules for the tournament.
The FFFC is a weekly fantasy football tournament with 30 Weekly Qualifiers, a Super Qualifier, and a Live Final. The Weekly Qualifiers will consist of 30 separate tournaments. Each week players may enter all Qualifiers. The entrant whose team scores the most fantasy points in each Qualifier will secure a place in the Live Final. In addition, there will be a Super Qualifier in Week 11 of the NFL season. In the Super Qualifier the top 20 scoring entrants will secure a place in the final. No one person may win more than 3 entries into the Live Final. Should a player win more than 3 entries into the Live Final, FanDuel will award the player $40,000 in cash for each additional seat won, and run additional Qualifier(s). If a player wins 3 entries, he is ineligible to enter any future qualifiers.
The final will take place in Las Vegas on Sunday, December 8th. The prize includes 1 roundtrip plane ticket to Las Vegas (up to $800 in value per plane ticket), one way transfer from airport to event hotel, two nights in a hotel, Saturday night cocktail party with a surprise host, and entry into the Sunday final including free food and drink for finalist and one guest. The winner will also receive a jet ride home for him/herself and 1 guest to his city of choice in the contiguous USA on Monday, December 9th.
The Weekly Qualifiers each week cost $10, $25 and $109 (subject to change by FanDuel). The total guaranteed prize pool for the entire championship is $3,000,000.

A team must compose of 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 DEF and 1 K while remaining under the salary cap.
Fantasy points will be scored as follows:
Note: For purposes of FanDuel defensive scoring, points allowed are calculated as: 6*(Rushing TD+Receiving TD + Fumble TD ) + 2*(Two point conversions) + Extra points + 3*(Field Goals)
In the event of a tie for first place in a weekly qualifier, the tied players will play a one week 'playoff' contest the following week to determine finishing position. All other ties (whether in the finals or in qualifying round) will result in the tied players splitting the prizes for the tied finishing positions.
The final of the FFFC is only open to players aged 21 and over. Anyone who wins first place in a Qualifer and who is under 21 will have their finishing position swapped with the first runner up. In other words, they will receive a cash prize and the runner up will receive the Vegas trip and seat in the final.
All other US and Canadian residents who comply with our eligibility rules for paid entry games in our terms of service are eligible to play. Note, residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, and Montana are not eligible to enter this competition. FanDuel employees may enter the competition for testing purposes but are not eligible to win any prizes.
No promotion of other websites or business - of any kind - is allowed by finalists at the Saturday night cocktail party or FFFC Final at Lagasse's Stadium, unless explicit permission has been granted by FanDuel in advance. FanDuel reserves the right to revoke attendance privileges at the Saturday cocktail party and/or Sunday final should unauthorized promotion of a website or business take place.
Contestants will only be allowed to qualify for three seats in the FFFC live final.
All US resident finalists will be required to provide address and social security details prior to the finals event. These details will be used to file a 1099-MISC with the Internal Revenue Service for any players whose net profit on Fanduel during 2013 exceeds $600.
Finalists agree that their full names, location and photos will be used for marketing purposes. They also agree to speak to journalists where applicable prior to, during and after the event. Any finalist unprepared to adhere to this requirement will have their finishing position swapped with the first runner up that week. In other words, they'll receive a cash prize and the runner up will receive the Vegas trip and seat in the final.
The finalists will be staying on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th at the Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino Las Vegas. If the finalist cannot make the trip due to extreme circumstances (such as illness, potential loss of job, death in the family, etc.), they may nominate one other to go in their place. However, the finalist will still be expected to fulfill their publicity obligations. Additionally, the finalist may elect to bring one friend, family member or partner to the event, who will be given free entry to the Sunday finals event and free food and drinks.
One ticket for guests to the Saturday party and Sunday Final is free; there will be a fee for additional guests, and space for additional guests at either event is not guaranteed.
The decisions made by FanDuel management regarding, but not limited to, eligibility, winners, scoring, travel arrangement, rules and prizes are considered final. No correspondence will be entered into. FanDuel reserves the right to make reasonable changes to these terms, (a) to ensure the fairness of competition, and (b) in response to unanticipated developments (such as technical failures, errors, acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, changes in applicable law, interruption in the NFL season, failure of stats provider, failure of hotel provider, and failure to obtain a minimum number of entrants).

FanDuel uses similar rules to season long fantasy sports game, the only difference is that our games last only a day. Thanks to fantasy sports being specifically excluded from laws affecting online sports betting, FanDuel is not illegal in any way. Trust us, our lawyers drive very nice cars so that we can keep it that way. We're also members of The Fantasy Sports Trade Association. Click here for a more detailed answer to this question.
