New England Patriots 2022-23 Daily Fantasy Outlook

The New England Patriots may not have won the AFC East last season, but they remain a very formidable team. After a 10-7 regular season, the team fell to powerful Buffalo in a Wild Card playoff game. There’s no doubt they’ll be itching for revenge against their divisional rival when the new season kicks off. Fortunately, sophomore signal-caller Mac Jones is set to return for what could be Jones' breakout season in Beantown.

New England lost receiver N’Keal Harry over the offseason, but they also brought in veteran DeVante Parker, a longtime Dolphin. Parker only appeared in 10 contests last year, but he still managed to total 515 yards and 2 TDs. The Patriots also revitalized their backfield by drafting 2 running backs late in the draft: Pierre Strong (South Dakota State) and Kevin Harris (South Carolina). With Brandon Bolden gone and no clear RB1 on the roster, the rookie duo could make an impact right away. Jones, who finished 18th in Fantasy points among all quarterbacks last year, will likely need the security blanket as he continues to find his footing in the pocket.

New England Patriots Fantasy Defense

New England’s defense was excellent last season, finishing 2nd both in Daily Fantasy points and total points allowed. The AFC East has only grown more competitive in recent years, but the team has consistently risen to the occasion. Former Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler is set to don the Patriots’ colors once more after a stint with the Tennessee Titans. He’ll elevate an already-exceptional secondary that snatched 23 interceptions last year. If New England can come close to matching its +159 point differential from last season, the team could reclaim its divisional crown.
