Houston Texas wide receiver Nico Collins continued his great start to the season in the team's Week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quietly, the Texans have a 2-2 record and are tied for first place in the AFC South. A huge part of that has been Collins, as he's eased the transition for rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud by being entirely dependable on the outside. He once again saw a high volume of targets, and the Michigan product continues to deliver for fantasy managers. Collins turned 9 targets into 7 catches for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns, finishing with 32.3 FanDuel points.

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (thigh) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. After registering a season-high 79% offensive snap percentage, Houston's rookie wideout was one of eight Texans held to limited practices. If Dell is active in Week 3 against a Jacksonville Jaguars' defense allowing 27.5 FanDuel points per game to receivers, our models project the 23-year old to see 4.7 targets. Dell's current Week 3 projection includes 2.9 receptions for 35.3 yards.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud will play Sunday in the team's Week 2 game against the Indianapolis Colts. Stroud entered the weekend with a questionable tag due to a shoulder injury. Despite the ailment, he has received the green light to take the field in his second career game. Our models project Stroud for 224.4 passing yards, 1.3 touchdowns, 0.7 interceptions, 18.8 rushing yards and 16.1 FanDuel points.

The NFL's Ian Rapoport believes Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (shoulder) "should" play in the team's Week 2 game against the Indianapolis Colts. Stroud was a late addition to the Texans' injury report this week, which is usually not a good sign, but it seems like the rookie signal caller will be able to play through the issue in Week 2. If he is unable to suit up, the Texans would likely have Davis Mills take over at quarterback for the week. If he does suit up, our models project Stroud, who has a $6,400 salary on FanDuel, to score 16.1 fantasy points against the Colts. That projection comes off of 224.4 passing yards, 1.3 touchdowns, and 0.7 interceptions. Stroud added 20 rushing yards to his tally in Week 1 against the Ravens and could have more upside as a rushing quarterback than his initial draft profile indicated, making him a potential sleeper option at the quarterback position.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (shoulder) is questionable for Week 2's contest against the Indianapolis Colts. Stroud's status is suddenly in question after he was listed as a limited participant with a shoulder injury for the first time this week. Expect Davis Mills to start under center if Stroud is inactive versus a Colts' defense allowing 18.7 FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks this season. Stroud's current Week 2 projection includes 21.1 completions for 1.3 touchdowns and 224.2 yards and 4.2 rushing attempts for 18.9 yards.

Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik expressed regret at not giving running back Dameon Pierce more rushes in the team's Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. "I wanted to stick with the run longer and I got away from it at the end," Slowik said of Sunday's loss. The first-year offensive coordinator added that the team's offense plays off of the rushing game, emphasizing a desire to get Pierce more touches going forward. Pierce totaled 38 yards on 11 carries against the Ravens and caught 2 of his 3 targets for 9 additional yards, but could see much more action in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts. Our models have a much friendlier projection in store for Pierce in Week 2, with 63.4 rushing yards, 13.1 receiving yards, and 0.5 touchdowns for 11.2 fantasy points against the Colts. He has a $6,000 salary on FanDuel.
