Josh Woods
LB / Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals signed Woods to a one-year deal Thursday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
What it means:
Woods played for the Lions last season, registering 14 tackles (10 solo) while appearing in every game. The 26-year-old played almost exclusively on special teams last year, and Woods should be expected to have a similar role for the 2023 season.
Dennis Daley
G / Arizona Cardinals
Daley agreed to terms with the Cardinals on a two-year deal Thursday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
What it means:
Daley started 15 games for the Titans last season while Taylor Lewan was out with a knee injury, and the 26-year-old will now head out west to sign with Arizona. The 2019 sixth-round pick can play both tackle and guard and will look to provide solid depth for the Cardinals next season.
Michael Dogbe
DE / Arizona Cardinals
Dogbe signed with the Jaguars on Wednesday, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
What it means:
Dogbe will head to Jacksonville after spending time on both the Cardinals' active roster and practice squad last year, where the former Temple Owl logged a career high 28 tackles (14 solo) while playing in 13 games. As the Jaguars currently lack depth along the defensive line, Dogbe could earn himself some solid playing time for next season.
Jonathan Ledbetter
DE / Arizona Cardinals
Ledbetter re-signed with the Cardinals on a one year deal Tuesday, Darren Urban of team's official site reports.
What it means:
Ledbetter, who was an exclusive rights free agent, signed his tender and will now return to Arizona for the 2023 season. After playing in just a couple of games over the course of his first two seasons, the 2019 undrafted free agent appeared in 14 games this past year, logging 22 tackles (10 solo) and a sack before landing on injured reserve with a knee injury prior to Week 18. With the Cardinals lacking depth along the defensive line, the 25-year-old should have an ample opportunity to build off of his productive 2022 campaign.
L.J. Collier
DE / Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals agreed to terms with Collier on a one-year deal, Darren Urban of team's official site reports.
What it means:
Collier will head from one NFC West team to another, as he spent the last four seasons in Seattle. The 2019 first-round pick played in only eight games last year as he dealt with both elbow and thumb injuries and recorded just seven tackles (three solo). While Collier is coming off of the least productive season of his career, he should still add solid depth to Arizona's pass rush unit that will be looking to fill the void left by J.J. Watt's retirement.
Antonio Hamilton Sr.
CB / Arizona Cardinals
Hamilton (hip) re-signed a one-year deal with Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of team's official site reports.
What it means:
Hamilton is coming off his best season, setting a new high in tackles with 44 (40 solo) and recorded the first interception of his career. After serving as reserve for the majority of his career, the 30-year-old earned the starting role before missing the last two games of the season with a hip injury. With lacking depth in the secondary as of now, Hamilton should have the opportunity to earn the starting job again next year.
