Michael Woods II Status

rotoWire
Woods caught his only target for 15 yards in a 28-14 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 18.

What it means:

Woods was on the field for 26 offensive snaps, as the rookie wideout finished out the season. He was a bit player for much of the season, including several healthy inactive designations early, before a spasm of activity over the final four weeks, when David Bell dealt with injuries. All of the Browns' primary wide receivers are under contract for 2023, so there shouldn't be much improvement in Woods' fantasy value next season. He finished with five catches, 10 targets and 45 yards.
rotoWire
Woods caught his lone target for five yards in Saturday's 17-10 loss to New Orleans in Week 16.

What it means:

Woods saw his snap count drop significantly with the return of David Bell from a toe injury. He played just four snaps, down from 39 in Week 15.
rotoWire
Woods caught one of two targets for four yards and carried once for minus-5 yards in Saturday's 13-3 win over Baltimore.

What it means:

Woods was the primary beneficiary of David Bell's thumb injury, which made him inactive Saturday. He played a season-high 41 snaps and had just his third reception. The Browns also used Daylen Baldwin as a third wideout; he caught two passes and was on the field for 12 snaps.
rotoWire
Woods (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers.

What it means:

Woods was active each of the team's last five games, but the rookie failed to carve out a significant role in the team's offense. He'll now work to earn a chance to play Week 13 against the Texans.
rotoWire
Woods did not catch his lone target in Sunday's 39-17 loss to Miami in Week 10.

What it means:

All of Cleveland's active wideouts were targeted in the blowout loss, as they fell behind by multiple scores early in the second half. The rookie Woods is playing catchup after missing the first five weeks of the season, but he has moved ahead of Anthony Schwartz as fourth on the depth chart.
rotoWire
Woods caught one of two targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 38-15 loss to New England in Week 6.

What it means:

Woods made his NFL debut after being inactive the first five weeks. He made his first NFL catch and had both targets on the Browns' final drive when the game was out of reach.
