Andrews caught five of 10 targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 24-17 wild-card round loss to the Bengals.
What it means:
Andrews unsurprisingly led the Ravens in targets, catches and receiving yards, but Baltimore was eliminated from the playoffs in a game that came down to an incomplete pass in the end zone on the final play. The 27-year-old tight end regressed from 1,361 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021 to just 847 yards and five touchdowns in the 2022 regular season, but Andrews remains the unquestioned top pass catcher in Baltimore's run-heavy offense heading into 2023.
Andrews is listed as active for Sunday's playoff opener against the Bengals.
What it means:
Andrews was rested during the Ravens' regular season finale, with an eye toward keeping him healthy for the team's postseason run. Now that he's back in the lineup, Andrews will reclaim his key role in Baltimore's passing attack. Over the course of 15 games this season, the star tight end led the team's pass-catching corps with 73 catches on 113 targets for 847 yards and five TDs.
Ravens' Mark Andrews (rest) inactive for Week 18
What it means:
The Baltimore Ravens listed Mark Andrews (rest) as inactive for their Week 18 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Ravens are resting several key players for their Week 18 game, and will let Mark Andrews, who has dealt with multiple injuries over the course of the season, take the weekend off as they take on the Bengals. His absence could open up a big opportunity for rookie tight end Isaiah Likely to step up.
Our models project Likely, who has a $4,800 salary on FanDuel, to score 4.3 fantasy points against Cincinnati, with 2.4 catches for 24.5 yards.
Andrews is inactive for Sunday's game in Cincinnati.
What it means:
With QB Lamar Jackson (knee) and now QB Tyler Huntley (shoulder) both unavailable, the Ravens have also decided to rest other key players. The inactive list includes two other starters who weren't listed on the final injury report -- RB J.K. Dobbins and G Kevin Zeitler -- and it's possible others will be inactive but not play much or at all.
Andrews corralled all nine of his targets for 100 yards in Sunday's 16-13 loss to Pitssburgh.
What it means:
Andrews had been struggling in backup quarterback Tyler Huntley's previous three starts (8-93-0), but the duo surpassed its entire production over that span in one fell swoop. While this was a step forward for Baltimore's struggling passing attack, the star tight end's fantasy value still fluctuates greatly with and without Lamar Jackson (knee). If the latter is forced to miss Baltimore's regular season finale, then Andrews' projections will understandably be lowered against the Bengals in Week 18.
Andrews caught three of five targets for 45 yards in Saturday's 17-9 win over the Falcons.
What it means:
It wasn't much production, but the tight end led Baltimore in catches and receiving yards on a day in which Tyler Huntley completed only nine passes. Andrews has seen his numbers plummet without Lamar Jackson (knee) under center. managing just a 8-93-0 line on 18 targets over the last three games, but with the Ravens having locked up a playoff spot Saturday, the team may not want to risk their starting QB in Week 17 against the Steelers.
