According to Mike Garafolo, the Washington Commanders will release tight end Logan Thomas. After four seasons with Washington, the Commanders will move on from Thomas in order to save $6.5 million of cap space. Expect the veteran to find a pass catching role with another team after he logged 90.7% route participation percentage last season. On 76 targets in 2023, Thomas ranked 46th among his position with a 57.1 Pro Football Focus rating while accounting for 55 receptions for 496 yards and four touchdowns.
