Hunter Renfrow Status

rotoWire
Renfrow recorded seven receptions on seven targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 31-13 loss to the Chiefs.

What it means:

Renfrow paced the Raiders in catches after commanding seven targets for the second time in his last three games. He made the most of that opportunity and showed strong rapport with Jarrett Stidham by hauling in receptions of 16 and 14 yards to highlight his day. Renfrow also caught his second touchdown of the season on an 11-yard reception midway through the fourth quarter. After breaking out in 2021, Renfrow was limited to only 10 games this season and otherwise saw a sharp downturn in his involvement in the offense thanks to the addition of Davante Adams. Nevertheless, Renfrow will be back with the team in 2023, as he enters the final year of his contract.
rotoWire
Renfrow caught three passes for 19 yards on four targets in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the 49ers.

What it means:

Renfrow was unable to benefit from the impressive 15.9 yards per completion that quarterback Jarrett Stidham posted in his first career NFL start, while fellow pass-catchers Davante Adams and Darren Waller combined for 225 yards and three touchdowns on 10 receptions. Renfrow has caught just eight of 14 targets in three games since returning from injured reserve, but he could benefit from another pass-friendly game script against the Chiefs in Week 18.
rotoWire
Renfrow recorded four catches (on seven targets) for 42 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 13-10 loss at Pittsburgh.

What it means:

The Raiders marched 72 yards on the first drive of the game, capping it with a nifty play by Renfrow to get into the end zone from 14 yards out. Otherwise, this offense more often than not found itself stuck in neutral, with Derek Carr and company totaling just 143 net passing yards. It should be noted that Renfrow's seven targets marked his second-highest mark of the season, so in a unit composed of Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Mack Hollins, Renfrow is a hit-or-miss option, especially with a Week 17 matchup against the 49ers' top-ranked defense on tap.
rotoWire
Renfrow caught one pass for 14 yards on three targets in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Patriots. He also returned three punts for 20 yards.

What it means:

Renfrow logged less than 30 of the Raiders' 68 offensive snaps in his return from the oblique injury that landed him on injured reserve for five weeks, and it was fellow slot receiver Keelan Cole that turned in the better fantasy performance as the latter posted two receptions for 50 yards and the game-tying touchdown. However, Renfrow could see his workload increase against the Steelers in Week 16.
numberFire
Raider activate Hunter Renfrow (oblique) off injured reserve, eligible for Week 15

What it means:

Las Vegas Raider wide receiver Hunter Renfrow (oblique) is eligible to play in Week 15's game versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Renfrow is on track to return after the Raiders' slot wideout missed five games with an oblique injury. In a potential spot versus a New England Patriots' unit giving up 24.8 FanDuel points per game to wideouts, Renfrow's Week 15 FanDuel salary stands at $5,400.
rotoWire
Renfrow (oblique) has been activated from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots.

What it means:

The return of Renfrow, who last suited up Week 9, will bolster the Raiders' passing attack ahead of the team's last four games. It remains to be seen if he'll log a full workload in his return to action, but once he's up to speed, Las Vegas' slot receiver could log enough targets to merit attention in PPR formats.
