The Vikings re-signed Joseph to a one-year contract, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

What it means:

Joseph's deal is worth up to $2.5 million with incentives and will keep the Vikings' often reliable kicker in Minnesota for the 2023 campaign. The 28-year-old finished the 2022 season with converting on 26 of his 33 field-goal attempts and 40 of his 46 extra-point tries. Joseph set the NFL record with five game-winning field goals last season, and he'll look to make an impact again in 2023.
rotoWire
Joseph converted 26 of his 33 field-goal attempts and went 40-for-46 on point-after tries over 17 games in the 2022 regular season.

What it means:

Joseph got off to a rough start during his second season with Minnesota, going 9-for-14 on field-goal tries over the first seven games. He did finish strong by not missing a single field-goal attempt in all but one of the final 11 games, including the divisional-round loss to the Giants. However, Joseph particularly struggled from long range this season, as he knocked through four of his 10 field-goal attempts of 50 yards or more. He thus finished with both the most missed field goals and extra points of his career, so it's unclear if he'll be re-signed before becoming an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
rotoWire
Joseph went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-3 on point-after tries during Sunday's 29-13 win over Chicago.

What it means:

Joseph made field goals from 28, 50 and 41 yards which should be a confidence booster after missing attempts from 46 and 50 yards in last week's blowout loss at Green Bay.
rotoWire
Joseph went 1-for-3 on field-goal attempts while making both of his PAT tries in Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Packers.

What it means:

Joseph made an easy 21-yard field goal early in the first quarter before missing attempts from 46 yards and 50 yards respectively later in the first half. The missed field goals were his first since Week 8, entering Sunday's contest having gone 13-for-13 over the last eight games, including a 61-yard game winner in Week 16 against the Giants. Joseph has had an up-and-down season, converting 23 out of 30 field-goal tries while also missing five extra-point attempts. The kicker will look to get back on track in the Vikings' regular season finale in Week 18 as the team travels to face the Bears.
rotoWire
Joseph converted on both field-goal attempts and all three point-after tries during Saturday's 27-24 victory over the Giants.

What it means:

Joseph capped off the first scoring drive of the game with an extra-point in the first quarter and extended the Vikings' lead to 10-0 in the second quarter with a 40-yard field goal. He added two more PATs before connecting on a game-winning 61-yard field goal as time expired in regulation. The 61-yard make was Joseph's career long, and he's now made back-to-back 50-yard tries after missing five straight from that distance.
rotoWire
Joseph made his only field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries in Week 15's 39-36 overtime win over the Colts.

What it means:

Joseph made a 40-yarder to seal the largest comeback victory in NFL history. With three games remaining, he sports 93 points on the campaign.
