Corey Davis Status
rotoWire
Davis caught one of three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 11-6 loss to the Dolphins. He finishes the season with 32 catches on 64 targets for 536 yards and two touchdowns.
What it means:
Davis needed just nine games to rack up 34 catches for 492 yards and four touchdowns in 2021. He played four more games in 2022 but had two fewer catches and two fewer touchdowns while totaling only 44 more yards. Rookie first-round pick Garrett Wilson emerged as the go-to option in the Jets' passing game, and the team's poor quarterback play didn't leave room for another receiver to produce consistently. Davis -- who turns 28 on Jan. 11 -- has one more year left on his contract but no guaranteed money.
rotoWire
Davis caught three of six targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 23-6 loss to the Seahawks.
What it means:
The Jets' entire offense struggled, and despite his weak numbers Davis wound up leading the entire WR group in yards, although tight end Tyler Conklin was the team's leading receiver overall. Davis has topped 50 yards just once in his last five games, and the team's unsettled quarterback situation will limit his upside in Week 18 against the Dolphins.
rotoWire
Davis caught two of seven targets for 14 yards in Thursday's 19-3 loss to the Jaguars.
What it means:
Davis finished second on the team in targets behind Garrett Wilson (nine), but Zach Wilson and Chris Streveler combined to throw for only 182 yards, so none of New York's pass catchers found much success. The veteran wide receiver has shown chemistry with the latter Wilson at times, but with the second-year quarterback regressing, New York's passing game is in shambles. Davis will have limited fantasy appeal against a stingy Seattle secondary in Week 17 unless the Jets get quarterback Mike White (ribs) back.
rotoWire
Davis (concussion) doesn't have an injury designation for Thursday's game against the Jaguars, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
What it means:
Davis apparently has cleared concussion protocol after the Jets listed him as a full participant for walkthrough practices Tuesday and Wednesday. He didn't have a chance to actually practice with the Jets on a short week, but he should see plenty of snaps nonetheless with backup wideouts Denzel Mims (concussion) and Jeff Smith (knee) both ruled out.
numberFire
Corey Davis (concussion) not listed on New York's Week 16 injury report
What it means:
New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (concussion) is available for Week 16's contest versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After consecutive full practices, Davis is expected to return from his one game absence with a concussion. In a matchup against a Jaguars' unit allowing 29.6 FanDuel points per game to wideouts, our models project Davis to score 5.3 FanDuel points.
Davis' current projection includes 2.3 receptions for 34.4 yards on 4.1 targets.
numberFire
Corey Davis (concussion) fully practices with Jets on Tuesday
What it means:
New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (concussion) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice.
Davis' full session after a limited practice on Tuesday is a great sign after he was inactive in Week 15 with a concussion. In a potential matchup against a Jaguars' team allowing 29.6 FanDuel points per game to wideouts, expect Davis to make his return if he is able to fully practice again on Wednesday.
On 43 targets this season, Davis is ranked 46th among his position with a 69.8 Pro Football Focus offensive rating while hauling in 26 receptions for 460 yards and 2 touchdowns.
