Amon-Ra St. Brown Status

rotoWire
St. Brown had six receptions (nine targets) for 49 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Packers.

What it means:

St. Brown didn't post huge fantasy numbers in the last game of the season, but he did make an impossible catch with his legs on the Lions' final drive of the game to seal the win and knock the rival Packers out of playoff contention. The 22-year-old took his game to another level in his sophomore campaign, racking up 106 receptions for 1,161 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games. St. Brown developed a strong rapport as Jared Goff's favorite target, a scenario that should continue in 2023 as the Lions look to build off of a solid run this year.
rotoWire
St. Brown caught four of fives targets for 62 yards during Sunday's 41-10 win over Chicago.

What it means:

St. Brown was surprisingly unproductive on a day the Lions found plenty of offensive success, likely a result of the run game dominating in full force plus Jared Goff finding tight ends and running backs for his three passing touchdowns. With that said, St. Brown remained Detroit's most productive pass catcher, and his output was enough for the second-year wideout to notch 100 receptions on the season. Look for St. Brown to remain the focal point of the Lions passing game in a cold-weather Week 18 game in Green Bay.
rotoWire
St. Brown caught seven of 13 targets for 76 yards during Saturday's 37-23 loss to Carolina.

What it means:

Merely selected as a Pro Bowl alternate this season, St. Brown made history in multiple ways Sunday. Not only did he best Calvin Johnson to become the youngest Lions receiver to reach 1,000 yards in a season, he also joined Michael Thomas and Odell Beckham to become the third player in NFL history with at least 90 receptions and 900 receiving yards in his first two seasons. With Jamaal Williams (leg) now set to miss time, the Lions seem set to lean on the pass even more in a Week 17 matchup against a Bears defense allowing the third-most yards per pass attempt (7.8) in 2022.
rotoWire
St. Brown caught seven of 10 targets for 76 yards while rushing once for six yards during Sunday's 20-17 win against the Jets.

What it means:

Having already caught at least seven passes in seven of 10 games he was healthy enough to log at least half of the offensive snaps, St. Brown was about the only Lions weapon that the Jets defense didn't have an answer for. However, like every other Lions wideout, New York at least prevented him from popping any big plays or reaching pay dirt. St. Brown will look to remain a key cog in Detroit's passing attack in a Week 16 matchup with Carolina.
rotoWire
St. Brown secured six of nine targets for 68 yards in the Lions' 34-23 win over the Vikings on Sunday. He also rushed once for six yards.

What it means:

St. Brown got off to a slow start before coming on with two receptions for 34 yards on the Lions' final drive of the first half. The star second-year wideout is beginning to cede more opportunities to a now-healthy D.J. Chark, and rookie Jameson Williams also appears set to carve out a progressively larger role in coming weeks after recording a 41-yard touchdown reception Sunday. However, St. Brown will naturally continue to fill a significant role in Detroit's red-hot air attack heading into the fantasy postseason, but he'll have a tough matchup versus the Jets on the road in Week 15.
rotoWire
St. Brown secured 11 of 12 targets for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' 40-14 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. He also rushed once for two yards.

What it means:

St. Brown unsurprisingly paced the Lions in catches, receiving yards and targets despite taking a couple of particularly hard hits throughout the course of the game where he appeared to have the wind knocked out of him. The star second-year wideout bounced back to cap off his afternoon with a four-yard grab with just under three minutes remaining to seal his second multi-touchdown effort of the season. St. Brown carries a 76-830-6 line into a key home Week 14 matchup against the Vikings, with the touchdown tally a new career best.
