Pending bonus is released to real cash at a rate of 4% of the entry fee of the contest you enter. That means if you enter a $25 contest, $1 of pending bonus will be released into your account.
Gradually releasing bonuses as you play FanDuel prevents bonus fraudsters from withdrawing bonuses immediately. It also lets us offer bigger bonuses to you because we know you will be playing the site and earning it.
If you cancel an entry or don't get matched, that entry doesn't count and so we will reclaim the pending bonus that was released when you made it.
