FanDuel.com lets you play and win at fantasy sports in a day instead of waiting the whole season. Players can draft a new team at any time, and pitch it head-to-head against a single opponent - or a league of opponents - for real money. The player whose team has the most fantasy points after the games have completed wins the cash prize. We currently have daily contests in fantasy football, fantasy baseball, fantasy basketball and fantasy hockey. Is FanDuel legal in the US?

Yes. Fantasy sports is considered a game of skill and received a specific exemption from the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). FanDuel uses exactly same rules as season long fantasy sports, the only difference is that our games last only one day.

What else can you tell us

The FanDuel team previously launched Hubdub.com which registered over a quarter of a million users and partnerships with Huffington Post and Reuters. Hubdub was covered in Washington Post, Fox News and TechCrunch. In January 2009, the team raised a Series A round of investment from PenTech Ventures which was covered by TechCrunch . Then in September 2011 the company raised a Series B investment of $4m led by Piton Capital and supported by existing shareholders.
