if you don't like standard 5X5 scoring shop around or start your own league. a league commissioner sets the scoring and can weight statistics to your liking. this is my first year as a commissioner, i expanded categories with different statistics: 8 or 10 for hitting and pitching. i had more than enough folks wanting to join my league, for my other teams i looked at scoring and league size, i like to play in 8 member leagues. any more than that down the ability to compete. usually those with a good draft do best for the season, those with a bad draft cannot improve their team through free agents or trades, in fact i have trade offers that want the few good players that i have with their cast-offs, as well i have no stock to trade that make a good trade, more than half of my teams have non-standard scoring,
